| What Makes a Good Suit |
 |
Quality Check
Tropical-weight wool and wool
blends are the best suit materials - they wear well and are
highly breathable so they can be worn year-round. Rayon or
microfiber blends are also good choices, though they may not
have as long a life span as wool; they are durable, hang
nicely, and are resistant to wrinkles. A touch of spandex will
give you freedom of movement and help your suit keep it's
shape.
Check that a suit's seams don't pucker,
especially where they sleeves meet the shoulders.
If
the fabric has a pattern, like stripes, make sure that the
pattern matches up at the seams.
Inspect the lining of
the jacket. It should stay smooth when you put the jacket on
and not bunch up at the sleeves or across the back.
The jacket should have moderate shoulder pads. They
give the jacket shape and slim the silhouette by balancing out
the hips and waist.
Fit Test
Button the
jacket and raise your arms. When you put them back down, the
jacket should fall into place - you shouldn't have to tug at
it.
Check the rear vent of the jacket while it's
buttoned. If it is spread open, the jacket is too small. If it
overlaps onto itself or flaps outward, the jacket is too
big.
The jacket should hang evenly and not dip or rise
in the back or front.
Sleeve length is very important;
the correct length is just above the first knuckle of the
thumb.
Cleaning Tips
Always dry clean
suit pieces together so the color will wear evenly.
The
more you dry clean your suits the shorter their life will be.
Dry cleaning breaks down the fabric fibers. Do it sparingly.

professor of fashion design at the Fashion Institute of
Technology, New York City.

Testimonials
My fight
with acne has been a long, drawn-out battle. Starting in my
middle-school years, my bad complexion followed me into my
20s. People constantly made comments about my acne and offered
solutions. Like many acne sufferers, I have tried every
product available to try and clear my skin, only to find
temporary relief - and then a new breakout. As difficult as it
was to show my face in public, it was even more devastating to
try to build my business with such a complexion - until I
discovered the clear.now Skin Care System. It cleared my
complexion and has kept it clear longer than any other product
I have used. The clear.now system has given me a reason to
look up again. Michael, Charlotteville, Virginia
The
clear.now Skin Care System has been wonderful in decreasing my
adult acne, even that once-a-month hormonal acne. I use the
clear.now scrub, step 1, every night to really scrub clean my
pores and exfoliate. This is the first product I have found
that works great with my sensitive combination skin. Other
products leave my skin dry and flaky or just aren't effective.
Debbie South Elgin, Illinois
I had perfect skin
every day of my life until my children were born. Then, due to
hormonal changes, I experienced breakouts on my chin. I tried
everything, but nothing worked. Then I ordered the clear.now
Skin Care System. After using the products, my face was clear!
Thanks so much for this amazing product. "Beautiful skin once
again." Amber, Fayetteville, Arkansas
